This is not a lesson on how to drive a car; it is an introduction to motor racing…

Are you ready to do more with your pistol?

Join us for an evening of hands on experience and an introduction to the various Competitive Shooting events available at JHGC.

You will sample stages from the International Defensive Pistol Association, the United States Practical Shooting Association, and the Steel Challenge Shooting Association.

Necessary equipment:

  • $5.00 entry fee
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Closed toed shoes. No flip flops or sandals
  • .22LR caliber or larger pistol (9mm or larger recommended)
  • If shooting a semi-auto pistol, two or more magazines
  • 100 rounds of ammunition
  • Pistol case or bag

Optional equipment:

  • Holster*
  • Magazine pouches
    *No cross draw holsters. No shoulder holsters

Participants must be 12 years of age and above, and if under the age of 18, must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.


Spaces are limited, advance registration required.

When: Wednesday, July 24th, 5:30pm – 8:00pm
